We inform our existing and potential clients that the ATAPS system provides full support for the exchange of structured electronic invoices (e-invoices).
The ATAPS system ensures automatic invoice generation and is already fully integrated with the State Revenue Service (SRS) e-invoice system. This guarantees secure and standardized delivery of e-invoices to legal entities via e-addresses and to the SRS.

New deadline: The mandatory use of structured e-invoices between companies (B2B segment) in Latvia will come into force from January 1, 2028 (postponed from the originally planned 2026 https://lvportals.lv/norises/376664-e-rekinu-sistemas-ieviesanu-uznemum…).

G2B and B2G: Please note that for transactions with state and local government institutions, e-invoices are a mandatory requirement as of January 1, 2025.
Why not delay the implementation of e-invoices? Although the mandatory deadline has been extended to give entrepreneurs time to adjust, ATAPS users have the opportunity to digitize their accounting workflow right now. This allows for avoiding the last-minute rush and additional investments in the future, as this solution is already available and functional on the ATAPS platform.
